Peruvian Claudia Llosa's sophomore effort is a beautifully tender film filled with touches of magical realism and based on the premise that women exposed to ongoing war and terrorism pass traumas to their children through their breast milk. Peru's bid for this year's best foreign-language Oscar and a 2009 Berlin Golden Bear winner.

I saw the movie a few months ago. The direction of the whole film is very well done as well as the direction of photography. I also enjoyed the topic of the plot of the movie. For been her first time if I am not mistaken, Magaly Solier did a great performance. Claudia Llosa screeplay...excellent
